update

Christian is now on a pain patch as well as morphin. They are trying to find the right dosage to keep the pain under control.
He is sleeping pretty much all day these days but he does wake up for a few seconds and smiles at us.
Once again if you want to visit with him then please do it now and dont wait. He may not be awake when you are here but he will know that you are here if you sit beside him, talk to him touch him.

Hi Everyone: I will continue to pray for all of you for strength to endure this trial and for painfree days and nights for Christian. I will be by on Friday again if that is okay. I will call first. With faith, hope, and love, Ms. Bonnie (Put me in the book) :)

Dear Amy and Family,
My name is Tonya from Fairhope, Al. and I have been one of the many who has been praying for little Ivee Foley and I saw on Hope's website asking us to pray for Christian. I can only imagine
your pain, however, I am praying you are drawing nearer to God as Christian draws nearer to His Father in Heaven. God knows our days from birth til death before we were formed and we have a purpose here and some fulfill their precious purpose sooner than others.
I am praying you find peace in knowing that Christian is in the best of hands as he is struggling for his life. Jesus does love the little children so much. The following poem is so beautiful and I hope it brings you comfort thru our Lord and Savior. In Him, Tonya

God's Lent Child
by Edgar Guest

I'll lend you for a little time
A child of mine, God said.
For you to love the while he lives
And mourn for when he's dead.

It may be six or seven years
Or forty-two or three.
But, will you, ‘till I call him back,
Take care of him for me?

He'll bring his charms to gladden you
And should his stay be brief,
You'll have his lovely memories
As solace for your grief.

I cannot promise he will stay
Since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there,
I want this child to learn.

I've looked the wide world over
In my search for teachers true.
And from the throngs that crowd life's lane
I have selected you.

Now will you give him all your love,
Nor think the labor vain,
Nor hate me when I come to call
This lent child back again?

I fancied that I heard them say
"Dear Lord, thy will be done.
For all the joys thy child shall bring,
The risk of grief we'll run."

"We'll shelter him with tenderness,
We'll love him while we may.
And for the happiness we've known
Forever grateful stay."

"But should thy angels call for him,
Much sooner than we've planned
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes
And try to understand."

Amy and Darrin,

I wish so badly that I could come and see Christian. I know that I might not get to see him again on this earth but that I will see him in Heaven! I pray for peace for you and Darrin and especially for Christian. I pray that whenever it is his time, he will go painlessly and peacefully. You are always in my prayers. Give Christian a huge hug and kiss from me. I miss you all. Gina Tyra, RN LeBonheur 5 South
